This lovely 1965 Brabham BT15 is up for sale through club member Graham.

This car is understood to be the third Formula 3 built by Ron Tauranac, raced successfully by Jim Sullivan (the driver of the year to Europe 1964). It was owned between ’65 and ’70 by Promecon, then purchased by Fred Opert of the USA.
Its third owner, Joe Bosworth, raced it as a Formula Ford for 10 years in the USA, and the car will be sold with its race logbook.
It was brought back to Australia and disassembled to rebuild. The present and only the fourth owner Graham Dell purchased all the parts and totally rebuilt to a very high standard. In actual fact only driven by Jim Sullivan and Joe Bosworth.
The gearbox was rebuilt by Gary Simkin and motor rebuilt to race specification, not driven at all since rebuild.
New magnesium wheels and spare set of four aluminium wheels for wet driving. Spare original nose cone available also new spare engine cover, to suit Formula Ford. New front uprights and new rear uprights with hubs new rubber doughnuts all hydraulics restored all hardware chrome plated.
