This 1963 Lotus Seven Series 2 is up for sale by friend of the club Bob in Killara.

First registered in 1969, the car is offered from a near 50-year ownership. It’s equipped with a Ford 116E (pre-cross-flow) 1500 cc engine, 40DCOE carburettors, front disc brakes and 3.89:1 axle. It is currently registered on concessional club plates.

The Seven was originally my road car in England, and I imported it into Australia in about 1984. At first it continued to be used as my road car, but I later transitioned it to only short weekend drives.  Recently I have hardly used it at all, and at my age I believe it will get even less use in the future. Regretfully, it’s time to pass it on.

Sold with a spare engine, racing-style roll-bar (not fitted), spare bonnet which I made but never fitted and sundry other bits. Fibreglass bits are painted that sexy Mazda Soul Red Crystal. Re-upholstered, tonneau cover, side-windows, carpeted cockpit. Hood is good only as a pattern (if I can even find it). Manual, sundry performance reviews and magazine articles.
