1960 Lotus 18 Formula Junior
Frame 987193, body plate 18/J/789 (attached to car). Sold in batch of six to Raper Rodriguez. Raced by A Álvarez in 1961 in a support race at the 1961 Grand Prix. Copy of race program available. In 2011, it was brought to Australia by Rob Hanns and Steve Lunn before being purchased in part by G Dell in 2018 and totally rebuilt.
The chassis was repaired by Elwyn Bickely and gearbox rebuilt by Colliers (Renaut). Cost to rebuild noted until it got $72,992 and then ceased noting.

New water and oil radiator. New fuel tank with baffles. New seat covers, all instruments. 40 MM Webbers, all hydraulics replaced and new pedal box fitted.
