Our first Tyre Kick of October found us at By the Bay Cafe in Carss Park on Sunday the 10th, catching up over a coffee in the car park above the cafe. Scroll on, and enjoy a few photos from the day.
Leaving the north side in sunshine, I was surprised to find our venue freshly rained upon, but the weather cleared as a great turnout rolled up the drive and settled in the car park. We were pleased to welcome Club President Ashton back to Australia after a few months working in the UK, arriving in style with Charley riding shotgun in the Elan, and also bringing along his niece Chloe who is living in Australia for a year, and enjoyed the morning drive in the Elise.
The marque was well represented, the usual strong collection of Elises sitting beside Elans and Esprits, and the more rare Cayman and BMW scrambler varieties, and all enjoyed the relaxed and social start to the day. We’ll be back at By the Bay Cafe on Sunday the 12th of November, followed by Gough Whitlam Park on Sunday the 19th. Come along and say ‘Hi!’
