On Sunday the 16th of January, 2022, we took a very peaceful cruise (perhaps one thing to be thankful for in our current predicament) to Gough Whitlam Park in Earlwood to catch up over a coffee very kindly provided by Club President Ashton Roskill. Our Carss Park Tyre Kick, January 9 2022, thanks to Evan Jones

After a slightly slower start to the year for our first Tyre Kick on the 9th, we were pleased to see a good turnout to Gough Whitlam Park, where we were able to welcome new member Drags as well as some familiar faces, and enjoyed the opportunity to catch up after yet another tumultuous holiday break.

The sun even charmed La Niña into submission and fell upon us for a few enjoyable moments.

Thanks to the arrivals of an Elan, various generations of Elise, an Esprit, Europa of both two and four-wheeled variety, Evora and even a moderately scrappy and square green mystery Lotus, we did a good job of representing the marque and captivating passers-by.

Both Tyre Kicks are in the calendar for February, and are planned for Sunday the 13th at By the Bay Cafe in Carss Park and hopefully back at Kokoda Cafe in Rhodes for Sunday the 20th. Until then, stay safe and sane and we will look forward to seeing you there.
