On Sunday the 17th of October, 2021, with vaccinations in place and Sydney slowly returning to life, we ventured out, bleary eyed, into the outside world, meeting in the car park above By the Bay Cafe in Carss Park to kick tyres, caffeinate and catch up after many months of COVID-19 lockdown.

With our usual third Sunday of the month location yet to be roused, we took the trip south to By the Bay Cafe in Carss Park. A friendly crew braved the post-apocalyptic unknowns to spend a relaxed Sunday morning chatting in pleasant spring sunshine surrounded by a comprehensive collection of Lotus cars.

Next month, with more vaccination targets hit and freedoms opened up, we’ll return to our regularly scheduled programme. On Sunday the 14th of November we’ll meet at Carss Park from 8:30am, and all being well we’ll head to Kokoda Cafe in Rhodes Park on Sunday the 21st from 9:30am. Come along and say ‘Hi!’
