Sydney’s first screening of Brabham, a documentary about legendary Australian race driver Sir Jack Brabham, will be held at the Orpheum Picture Palace on Tuesday the 10th of December, and we’re invited!
The screening will be on Tuesday the 10th of December. Arrive at 8:15 for a 8:30 session. Tickets are $25 and proceeds will be donated to Movember, a cause we’re very happy to support.
Following the screening, there will be an interview with the film’s producers, Akos Armont and Tony Davis.

Special Charity Screening of New Brabham Documentary Movie for Sydney Motor Racing Fans
Sydney motor sport enthusiasts and students of motor racing history will get their first chance to see the new documentary movie, ‘Brabham’, about Australia’s legendary three times World F1 Driving Champion Sir Jack Brabham, at a special charity screening at the Cremorne Orpheum on Tuesday 10th December.
Tickets to the special charity screening are $25 and will see proceeds from the night go to the men’s health charity Movember.
As well as getting the first chance to see the new Brabham movie in Sydney the night will also see the producers of the film, Akos Armont and Tony Davis, interviewed on stage about the film and also their book upon which the documentary was based on. They will give an insight into how the movie was put together and the extensive interviews and research they did to complete the project.
Both Akos and Tony will be available to sign copies of their book on the night.
The Orpheum Picture Palace is one of Sydney’s great art deco cinemas and boasts a fully licenced bar where you will be able to grab a drink before the screening.
The screening will also see a door prize and some charity raffles to help raise more money for Movember.
