This past Sunday, the 4th of December, we got together for a lovely drive, on more Lotus-appropriate roads this time, to the Central Coast to celebrate the year at our annual Christmas lunch.

Those from Sydney and further south met at the majestic Thornleigh McDonald’s to enjoy the ambiance and a pre-road trip catch-up, before heading off to find the Old Pacific Highway and enjoy a morning cruise.

We ambled along the twisty roads, arriving at Bombini’s beautiful restaurant, located just outside of Avoca, nice and early. This gave us plenty of time for a morning coffee, a particularly nice treat, and a chat in the sunshine in the car park. This we filled to the brim with a beautiful collection of Lotuses ranging from the Eleven all the way through to the Evora 400 and a current model Elise.

From there we headed inside for a magnificent lunch served superbly by the Bombini team. We’d like to send a huge ‘THANK YOU!’ to our wonderful hosts for another excellent event.
