Motorsport

The Lotus marque is synonymous with sweet-handling drivers’ cars, and boasts one of the sparkliest trophy cabinets in motorsport. So you can bet Club Lotus Australia has a passion for motorsport to suit.

It is a member of the Combined Sports Car Association which includes Jaguar, MG, Austin Healey, Sprite, Morgan and Triumph clubs. Each club conducts a competitive event during the year with points accumulating from these events. Club Lotus Australia is an affiliated club with the Confederation of Australian Motorsport (CAMS).

We run, and take part in, competitive, sporting and social events around Australia. Check out the calendar or the ‘Coming Up..’ section over on the right to see what we’re up to and when.

Social

We may gather around cars, but really they’re just a good reason to get together with our friends and get up to mischief. This makes the social side of the club very important!

On the third Wednesday of each month we get together for a monthly General Meeting. Gaze to your right under ‘Coming up..’ and you’ll be able to find the next meeting – click that for details!

We also actively support the Cars and Coffee movement, and run a Tyre Kick and Coffee on the third Sunday of each month. The Tyre Kick and Coffee is all about the community hopping in their car on a Sunday morning to go for a drive and meet up with likeminded people for a relaxed morning chat and some appropriate Sunday morning fuel.

Once again, gaze to the right under ‘Coming up..’ for more information, and keep an eye on the main page for updates.

We live in a wonderful country with a bounty of beautiful countryside and open road to explore, and periodically we organise weekend or longer trips to go further afield and do just that. Recent trips have included  our 40th Anniversary trip to Thredbo, a trip to the Bathurst 12 Hour, a Tour of Tasmania, and a trip to the Temora Airshow.

Every two years we conduct a National meet somewhere in Australia. Details for the 2024 event are currently in discussion

The Club is graced by a wonderful group of interested, active people, and there’s always something fun or interesting going on – come along and say ‘Hi!’

Technical

We maintain registers of most models to enable members and buyers of Lotus to confirm the provenance of their cars. If you’re looking to get in touch with a specific register, hit this link to our contact page.

We are also closely involved with many of the best providers of service and spare parts for your Lotus. You can find links to many of them on our links page.
